Hotel Antique is not in the ideal center of Plovdiv, but in 10 minutes walk you can reach the city garden with the singing fountains, and after another 20 minutes you are in Kapana- the artistic district in the center of Burgas, full of restaurants, bars, bistros, artisan shops, etc.
I chose it because of the comfort the apartment offers for 4 people and the nice interior design.

…. Original and beautiful interior and exterior of the building;
…. The hotel looks brand new, clean and tidy;
…. Compliment coffee capsules Illy for the same brand coffee machine, electric kettle, utensils and plates, and mini bar;
…. From the terrace of the apartment you can see the boulevard and the roundabout at the central station of Plovdiv.
Feel ….
…. Polite service, with a smile that is felt behind the masks;
…. The comfort of the pillows on the wooden podium in front of the windows of a terrace overlooking the center of Sofia.
Hear ….
…. Extremely noisy from the boulevard for apartments and rooms overlooking it. You can’t sleep with the window open at night, and sleeping on the air conditioner is not an option for everyone. Because of this, one heart fell out.

Smell ….
…. The bathroom has liquid soap and shower gel from a dispenser in the shower cabin, which smelled nice. There were no disinfectants in the room;
…. The water in the minibar, supposedly new and sealed by Devin, had a strange odor, slightly smoky, as if not fresh. I drank Devin before too, but it never smelled like this. I am wrong about my suspicion.
Taste ….
…. Illy coffee is our favorite, so we enjoyed it with a few cookies we bought.
The rooms of Hotel Antique are very beautiful, they are large enough and comfortable enough, but they will not be a preferred option for us. We were more satisfied by Renaissance Hotel and Shahbazyan Guest House, which you can read about in The advantages of staying in a guest house in Plovdiv, European Capital of Culture for 2019.
