A new menu, new taste surprises, genuine ideas and delights for the receptors are offered by chef Sidonia Radeva, chef of Constantinoff Restobar.
See ….
…. An original vision of the dishes, even the simple grilled chicken arrives impressively raised vertically on a skewer. In fact, it’s not that simple, read why it’s so down in the Smell category;
…. I have already written about the extremely pleasant and cozy interior of the restaurant in older publications. The newest and coolest place in Sofia, Constantinoff RestoBar and Constantinoff Restobar in Sofia, Bulgaria after 1 year. You can see it in the video below.
Feel ….
…. With very few exceptions, the waiters are very active, super friendly and happy to respond to customer whims and claims.
Hear ….
…. House music that lifts the mood without being intrusive and too loud.
Movie watching time: 1:53 min.
Smell ….
…. Slight aroma of smoked and rosemary in the grilled chicken;
…. Tart truffle notes in tagliolini with pork tenderloin;
… Honey sweetness in Medenka cake with prune jam, toffee cream and white chocolate;
…. Rosemary in the Smoky Wallnut cocktail based on whiskey;
…. Bulgarian wine on a glass from the wine bar, which I recommend, Eager Fusion 2020 by Stefan Pirev with a playful combination of white and red varieties – Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
Taste ….
…. The aforementioned grilled on Josper chicken, with spices, crispy crust and fine texture. They serve it with well-baked potatoes;
…. The schnitzel is perfect – well-thinned, served with butter and crispy french fries;
…. Wonderful Caesar salad, the version with crispy squid is just fabulous. It partnered well with the wine I described above;
…. Any kind of pasta, we tried tagliolini with pork fillet and pumpkin pie with homemade Petrohan and cheese sauce. They are wonderful!
Pyrroles are fried in fat gnocchi-like dough balls.
…. In addition to the pumpkin cheese cake, which I have already shown on my Instagram profile, I would also recommend Gato Saint Honore, which is an eclair with mascarpone cream, fine angel hair and salep cremeux, as well as the already mentioned Gingerbread cake.
I always stop by Constantinoff RestoBar with great pleasure – sometimes just for a cocktail, coffee and dessert, and sometimes to try their new offers for the season.
