Cronwell Resort Sermilia is one of the 3 hotels in Greece and one of the 12 in total hotels of the Russian chain Cronwell.

It is the biggest building in Psakoudia, so you will easily find it in the small village, situated along the beach. Psakoudia beach is large with fine sand and crystal clean waters. You can enjoy even some snorkeling there.

The hotel is situated just across the street from the beach. It has its own area by the sea with sun beds and umbrellas. The latter are large and located densely each next to the other so there is a thick shadow under them. You can use towels from the beach bar of the hotel. Its waiters take care that you miss nothing as drinks and snacks during your sun bathing.

Cronwell Resort Sermilia has been built just recently and everything is fresh and new there. It is perfectly clean and shiny. The rooms are very spacious. You can opt for a room with sea+ pool+ street view or a quieter one with a view to the trees at the back of the building, or sideward view, including less from the sea but also less from the street and pool noise.

We had enjoyed a wonderful family suit for 4 persons, comprising 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It had a common door with the next double room, so if the door is unlocked a 6-persons family can be accommodate easily. Our room number was 214. It was situated on the 2nd floor and there we found a spacious terrace with gazebo, canopies and sunbeds. You have to bear in mind though, that the terrace is shared with 3 other suites, also equipped with the same sunbeds with canopies. If you are a group of families, those 3 suites and a double room are a wonderful opportunity to spend some more time together.

The restaurant is indoors  but it is good looking, air conditioned and clean, with very fast and helpful personnel, offering rich choice of dishes, most of which are very delicious. I wish there would be more sea food though at dinner.

The animation team is friendly and extremely easy going with kids. My daughters adored them. The mini disco was a favorite activity before dinner for them. The Zumba teacher Julia is really good and creates true party atmosphere in the afternoons.

Don’t miss to visit the sky bar with its magnificent view to the sea. On Saturdays there is a DJ and the animators are pumping up the mood on the dance floor.

On the street in front of the hotel there are various choices of taverns, bars, beach bars. Every night is a party night. However, you have to manage somehow with the music till late, or better to say early morning if you are accommodated in a room with full sea  and street view. One of the good taverns, with fast service and very delicious food is Kostas Taverna.

I liked Psakoudia very much and definitely I wish to come back to Cronwell. I may even give it a try at their hotel situated on Kassandra leg of Halkidiki.
