… The two big bears- symbols of Berlin, which welcome you at the entrance;

… Very interesting modern design of the interior– the entire NH chain boasts interesting interior solutions;

… Amazing breakfast- beautifully arranged, nothing is missing;

… Pretty simple style in the hallways and rooms;

… Hard flooring with no textiles- diminishing the room comfort;

… Nourishing and hydrating personal hygiene products in the bathroom.

… Friendly service at the reception;

… Comfortable pillows;

… Uncomfortable and cool hard flooring, and I didn’t find the slippers if there were any at all.

… Peace and quiet in the rooms and on the corridors of the hotel.

… Fresh products for breakfast– various fresh fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, freshly baked pancakes;

…. Water, fragranced with cucumbers for breakfast.

Taste… 

…. Fresh juices and smoothies, a lot of options for everything you can think of – fruits, vegetables, eggs, sausages, fish, bread, pastries, honey with wax, teas, coffee several kinds, even a special vegetarian section, and because all this was considered insufficient by the management there is a sign on the table that you can order on spot fresh scrambled eggs, omelet, pancakes and others;

… Very tasty playful candies at the reception, which bring you back in the childhood years.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in the NH chain, and this time I was in a hotel in central Berlin, Checkpoint Charlie.

The hotel looks impressive both at the entrance outside and in the lobby. Straight from there it is clear to you that this is a place that offers experiences, not just bed and breakfast. Every detail is interesting and entertaining, both in the interior and in the food and drinks.

A compliment of carbonated water, a coffee with a Krups coffee machine, tea and a well-stocked minibar awaits in your room.

The hair dryer is powerful, which is important for ladies with long hair and the personal hygiene products are nourishing and hydrating.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t find my slippers, maybe there weren’t any.

I recommend very much NH Collection Berlin Mitte, Checkpoint Charlie to all fans of modern urban style hotels!
