French Summer Mood with the Dinners by Bacchus Magazine

We attended another of the traditional Bacchus magazine dinners at ShowHow in Sofia. Guest-Chef was Ivaylo Mirov. In 4 courses we have tried exceptional things that we have never had a chance to taste anywhere before. We remained charmed and recharged with nice summer mood.

I’m going to tell you that Ivo Mirov has been cooking professionally for only six years and he has mastered French gastronomy so well, that he was invited to cook for the French embassy in Bulgaria. Even the glorified chefs in Sofia have not been able to grab my attention so much as him! I really wish that more people could enjoy his gastronomic skills anytime soon.

See in the movie what this master has made for us. To be honest, I have never tried such wonderful scad fish. And that braided green vegetable around it is the coolest fermentation of cucumber I’ve ever tasted. The beef cheeks were without any remark, wonderful!

Movie watching time: 1.34

The wine, which Blagoy Kuzmanski, the best sommelier of Bulgaria, has selected for the dishes by SeeWines is their own product. Dry white Colorito blend 2017, Rose Ayano 2017, which at a rose tasting at SeeWines gallery scored the highest rating in severe competition and red Colorito Pinot Noir from the region of Kavarna.
