When I am on the second leg of Halkidiki, on the eastern side, I always visit two tavernas-one is Paris in Vourvourou and the other is Aristos in Ormos Panagias.
The best thing is that you can go there even by boat. If you are planning your sea holiday in the area, it is best to rent a boat and explore around deserted beaches and coves with turquoise color. The islands of Diaporos hosts already a lot of private properties and piers, but there are also plenty of crowdless zones. The Blue Lagoon, between the islands is a fertile sea of flora and fauna and is great for snorkelling, but there are many boats.
So, after you have toured the bays and beaches in the area, you are hungry and you are heading to Ormos Panagias. You can pull your boat on the sand, near Aristos restaurant. It is best to have a reservation no matter what time you intend to jump, especially on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We went at 17 o’clock. And it was full. …. Rich in fish catches and seafood display- it has always been such, they even had langoustines, named Norway lobster;
…. All the tables are occupied especially in the evening. The neighbouring place is never so full. Search tables with blue so as not to confuse the house;
…. The menu also includes vegetarian options.
…. Very friendly service. A friend of ours had caught a fish named Mayatiko, a multitude of smaller sea basses and other small fish. He had asked the house to cook them for us. Not only did they deliciously prepared the fish, but they also didn’t demand money for the cooking or the service. This is an extraordinary thing for such a heavily visited pub that sells 50-70 euros per kilogram of their seafood. But it wasn’t just that.
And while they were serving us, we had a friendly chat, they even told us secret tips about fishing Mayatiko fish.
…. Everything ordered came fast, we were regularly checked whether we need anything, we even exchanged jokes with the staff:

…. For many years Bulgarians work at the tavern- we talked with them in Bulgarian, but also the Greeks surprised us with some of our words;
…. A quiet surf of the waves, almost at your feet, if your table is on the sand.
…. I always liked the scent of fried fish – the small fish was fried so nicely –crispy and very delicious;
…. One of us had ordered the vegetarian Turlu gyuvech, made of squash, peppers, tomatoes- it smelled of vegetable garden and spices, wonderful, I recommend it very much!

…. And why not fish soup;
…. Tarama Caviar- an exceptionally gentle consistency, wonderfully combined with the delicious Greek bread. Be careful you can overeat with it and right before the fish arrives!
…. Naturally, the traditional Greek salad, or as it is called Choriatiki, and Tzatziki.
…. At the end, again by Greek tradition, they will bring you a compliment of desserts.
