Palace Hotel Zagreb Food
I visited many interesting places in Zagreb, Croatia on my last trip there, with great cuisine, Mediterranean and traditional, offering fantastic wine list from all Croatian regions. I have to mention also, that Croatia produces really god olive oil, as well as truffles. You can read all other articles dedicated to Croatia using its name as search word in placescases.com.
This time, during my stay in Zagreb I stayed in Palace Hotel, which is right into the heart of Zagreb. It was built in 1907 and it wears that exquisite retro chic typical for the time. As a contrast, you will notice contemporary art on the walls.
Another virtue of this remarkable place is the service. I made a test: the NOT DISTURB/PLEASE CLEAN UP! sign was torn, and I had difficulty attaching it on the door knob. I did not tell housekeeping just to see if they would react. To my satisfaction, when I came back the sign had been replaced with a new one. That is how things have to be done! Good job, ladies!
Another example for attention to the customers was the helpful proposal by the piccolo to protect us from the rain with un umbrella when we headed off to the car.
The breakfast was remarkable too! I would recommend trying the local cheese pie and the omelette. The latter was served as a roll, properly seasoned and very delicious. All salami and cheese were good and tasty. The bread was also incredibly delicious!
The price for a double room per night is just 105 EUR but the service was matching even higher standard!
Across from the hotel you can enjoy a nice walk in the green park, visit the Art Pavilion, built in 19 centuries especially for the purpose of exhibitions and also the Modern Art Gallery.
I had great time at Palace Hotel Zagreb and I recommend it to all visitors of Zagreb!
