It is one of the newest and coolest spots for dining in Sofia.
The owners come from ad business and it seems they really know how to attract audience. You cannot help noticing the interesting interior design when you get inside. It really makes you wish you sat there at least for a while, even for a short rest with a lemonade.
If you had a chance to get a table, once you read the carte you feel your mouth wet and ready to taste the delicious offers.
I ordered Danube sturgeon with salad. It was such a pleasure to remember that mild taste of this fish with its tender healthy fat and smoky smell from the grill!
However the greatest surprise for me was the traditional for Bulgaria tarator- cold soup made of yogurt, cucumber, garlic, dill, salt and walnuts. It is the preferred soup for the hot summer season here. But at this place I had a brave new version of tarator. Nobody dares to spoil the traditional well known recipe. The chef provoked my taste with a totally different combination of taste and smell. Instead of walnut, there were sunflower seeds, instead of garlic , there was grated boiled egg and instead of dill there was mint. I am rarely easy going with the latter but here it just broke my stereotypes. That was a perfect choice for the summer season and it was so natural with its cooling scent and taste. Well done guys! You won my heart! I am coming for more.
Anyone who reads this and wishes to do like me, call first to book a table, since it is very desirable case of place.
