There are restaurants that offer a complete experience – from food through the interior, service, and even the musical background.

Such is the case with Mezza Grill. The restaurant has cuisine typical of the Middle East and is part of the group of restaurants Social Cafe Bar & Kitchen, on Vitoshka Street, the two Briciole on Angel Kanchev Street and Vitoshka Street. If you pass by Mezza and decide to miss it and not enter because it looks small, it will be a big mistake. If you decide to stay, there is a high probability that there will be no free seats, because people who know it book tables in advance. So, plan and book, do not miss a wonderful experience from the East.

 See ….

…. The interior is stylish and transfers you to the Orient – you are surrounded by many colors and this improves your mood – colorful lanterns hang from the ceiling, between them copper pots, colorful plates are arranged on the walls;

…. The place is small, there are only a few tables and is very cozy;

…. Plates and trays arrive full of food – fragrant and colorful;

…. The airan is in a copper jug, Turkish coffee is served in special cups with metal frames and lids.

Airan is a local drink made of yogurt and water.

Feel ….

…. The waitress was a very kind and polite girl. She explained to us everything we asked about from the menu and made recommendations;

…. The atmosphere is typically oriental, as if in a fairy tale – it’s very nice!

Hear ….

…. Wonderful music, naturally from the Orient, mostly Turkish, but in a modern chill-out and jazz arrangement.

Movie watching time: 1:42 min.

Smell ….

…. I like the scent of sumac and here to my delight it is present;

…. The chicken skewer, or as it is in the menu- Tavuk, also suggests that the meat has been marinated before, but everything smells very appetizing!

Taste ….

….. Whatever you choose is always delicious! Try one of the dips and pide bread too. We tried a mix of dips – Mutabal, hummus and Muhammara, just great!

Mutabal is an eggplant paste with tahini, yogurt, garlic and lemon.

Muhammara is another very tasty snack, which is prepared from roasted red peppers, walnuts, bread crumbs, pepper and pomegranate.

Dips come with bread, so keep that in mind if you order pide bread.

Pide bread is a dough baked like pizza in an oven, but with yellow cheese or another topping. It’s huge, so it’s for at least 2 or 3.

…. Cigarette burek – some small, very tasty patties, rolled up like a cigar – they are very crunchy, and inside the cheese filling is tender;

…. Fried eggs with beef sausage – it may sound very simple and easy, but it’s delicious. It comes in a frying pan and you eat it with great pleasure!

…. Make sure you have a place in your stomach for a kunefe and Turkish coffee.

Kunefe is an oriental dessert made from kadaif, soft cheese such as mozzarella, sprinkled with hot sugar syrup and garnished with pistachios. It is very tasty and naturally very high in calories, but what to do, you eat and ask for more.

I can’t help but go to Mezza Grill again, because there are a lot of things left to try that I’m sure are just as delicious as the ones I described above.
