…. The MasterChef statuette at the entrance– Sevda Damitrova was a phenomenon in MasterChef TV show because she was the first vegetarian to win the first place;
…. Pleasant artistic interior, however, the black and white chess tiles from the previous establishment have remained;
…. Exceptionally well-arranged food, the beauty on the plate is very important for the overall experience and it’s always registered by the 5D Sensograph.
…. Friendly service, efforts to make the customers feel good and pampered;
…. Crispy carrot chips in the homemade bonito mousse;
…. The airy sensation and fine aroma of the foam in the sea bass and some of the salads.
…. Famous pieces in jazz arrangement, very calm and beautiful music, setting the environment to enjoy the moment Aquí y Ahora (here and now) with Sevda’s wonderful food;
…. Not every time and not all waiters explain what’s on the plate and how it’s done, this great sophisticated food, prepared with so much attention and special skills, involving molecular cuisine, needs to be well presented.
…. The citrus flavour of the jelly orange in the homemade bonito mousse, which refreshes pleasantly the smell of sea in the mousse;
…. The exotic combination of cinnamon, halva and white chocolate in dessert carrot cheesecake;
…. Welcome starter – goose mousse with crunchy crumbs, butter with spices, a delicious bread to spread on it; the kids loved the way it looked and would have eaten it without leaving for me to try it;
…. Homemade mousse from bonito– served with bread chips, beads of red caviar, carrot chips, orange jelly and strips of cucumber;
…. Rice meatballs – divine, crunchy coating, the children ate them up in seconds, I managed only one to try, slightly dipped in the sauce;
…. Sea bass topped with foam, (I wasn’t told what the foam was), on a bed of tasty risotto;
…. Surf and Turf with sauce hollandaise – this bold combination of veal, chicken and seafood is my favourite;
…. Carrot cake Scheherazade– this is the most amazing and original carrot cake I have eaten, with threads of halva and other surprises, just try it!
MasterChef Sevda is vegetarian, but she cooks meat so well! Everything we ordered was delicious, there was not a single remark to the food, we wanted to try more and more, except we have no capacity for so many things.
If you visit Ahora, do not eat only salad, although the salads there are remarkable and are also accompanied by the original creations of Sevda’s molecular cuisine. You need to try also the starters, main courses and desserts, otherwise you will surely miss some tasty and interesting dish.
The price range for a 4-member family is EUR 60 + alcohol included.
I wish the waiters told me more about the wonderful food creations, but I can’t hide that the people were very polite.
We became enthusiasts for Sevda’s cuisine and we shall visit her again. There’re still so many dishes to try! Bravo Sevda, keep creating, and we will just enjoy Aquí y Ahora (here and now) your art in Ahora!
