I admit, I chose Cavo d’Oro because of the stylish white chairs and tables. There are many restaurants at the marina, you wonder how they stand out from each other. You read about them, their ratings are similar and that’s why you choose a little by their sight.

Overall, the place offers a delicious, Italian type of cuisine, but you need thick nerves and patience for waiting them to serve it.

 See ….

…. Pleasant stylish tables and chairs, as well as interior, which were the reason to stop at it;

…. Jade green color of the water in the small bay of the marina. Small black fish shoot in it, some alone, some in passages, it is very nice.

…. All restaurants here are densely populated, there is no air between the tables, but it’s not scary, the guests are all tourists, with negative tests or vaccinated. The staff of the whole island wears masks, both inside and outside. Very unfair, given that everyone has been vaccinated.

Feel ….

…. Very slow service. In the summer heat, it is expected that when you sit down, they will bring you a bottle of water. It didn’t happen that way. There was even a glass missing, which we asked for 3 times, but it was never brought to us. The water came after a long time and we drank it immediately. We had to order 2 more bottles, by mistake they brought 3, but it was better because they ran out in no time;

…. At one point, one of the waitresses refused to deal with us because we wanted a lot of things at the same time because of the slow service. We became aware of it, but on the other hand, why should guests feel uncomfortable because of the failing staff?!

Hear ….

…. Jazz – very nice. I don’t know if it was from our restaurant or from a nearby one, but it was very nice.

…. Of course, the noise of many people, because of the crowded tables.

Smell ….

…. One of the most impressive flavors was basmati rice with shrimp.

In this restaurant, I recommend Italian-style dishes. Horiatiki and tzatziki can also be ordered and are even very tasty, but you better try what they are best at – pasta, risotto or something from the main courses.

Taste ….

…. The fish mix, fresh catch, is not who knows what – you better order squid, shrimp or gavros separately. The main part is a swordfish, if you’re not a fan, you lose.
… The octopus is good too;
.… Finally, the complimentary dessert includes a melon and a very nice fruit cake, as we know it from the “shelter” of the 80s in Bulgaria – ie. something like a cake, but with nuts and small pieces of dried fruit inside.
