Restaurant Adriana offers not only steaks, but also other dishes from Austrian and, in particular, local Carinthian cuisine. However, here it’s really worth swapping the schnitzel for some great beef steak. However, their schnitzels are also very good.

See an old house with several halls and it is full not only for dinner but also for lunch.

Feel very pleasant and fast service. I especially loved that they have almost any wine from the menu offered by the bottle and by the glass.

Hear world hits, but they were a little quiet, it was as if there was no music, they were probably from the radio.

Smell the cranberry jam served with the schnitzels.

Taste primarily veal/beef, also schnitzels, surf&turf, and wine from Austria.

… Several rooms, always full of people: the restaurant is very sought after and popular, I also recommend that you make a reservation in advance – you can also do it through their website.

… The show during the steaks serving: an element that, according to Joseph Pine’s and James Gilmore’s Experience Economy, makes the establishment memorable. Each steak is served in a special way with a short ceremony. The dish is brought in on a cart, which rattles its wheels noisily on the tiled floor, so that it immediately attracts the guests’ attention. The waiter jingles a bell, and a steak that have just been taken off the fire sizzles on a plate. They put it on a board and cut it nimbly. It is served in front of the guest who ordered it. Thus, both the steak and the guest are the center of attention for about 5 minutes. Also, in this way, people who have not yet found out about the cuisine specialization in beef steaks understand that this is the place to pay attention to this part of the menu.

… Friendly and prompt service: they seat you quickly, they immediately ask you what you want to drink and after a while, they bring you a bread roll so you don’t have to sit at an empty table. There is also a small flat plate and olive oil on it, so if you get hungry, with the glass of wine you ordered, you can snack by dipping the bread in olive oil, which you have dripped on the plate and mixed with a little coarse salt and pepper, also available at each table.

… Nice energy from the visitors: everyone is cheerful, and having fun. Bad Kleinkirchheim is a resort town and at this time of the year, around Christmas, the visitors are mostly tourists and mostly Austrians. People are resting, happy with life and the atmosphere is wonderful.

… Unfortunately, the music is very, very quiet: I barely realized that they were playing well-known and very good hits, but they must have been from the radio. For lack of more enjoyment of that sense, half a heart was dropped.

… The restaurant staff speak excellent English: no need to dig your brain for the remnants of stunted knowledge of German, you can say everything in English.

… The wonderful aroma of cranberry jam: if you order a schnitzel, they give you a little jar of cranberry jam with it.

… Herbs in one of the dips to the steaks: they give several dips to spread on the steaks. I liked the one based on yogurt with herbs the most. The others are mayonnaise and ketchup.

Taste in restaurant Adriana …

… As I said before, the steaks are superb: they are cooked exactly the way you asked for them, they are perfectly seasoned and go well with a red wine Zweigelt or Blaufränkish, and why not Primitivo.

… Schnitzel – pork and chicken: just perfect. Crisp breading, inside the meat is tender. They come with a little jar of jam that I already mentioned above, which just makes the taste and aroma magical.

… Fried Sweet Potato Side Dish: forget the diet and boldly get a fried sweet potato side dish. There is no such pleasure as combining the salty spicy taste of steak with the sweetness and crunch of this potato.

… Austrian wine by the glass of different types to match the different courses of meals: great wine by the glass! I recommend from the white varieties Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Gelber Muskateller, Gemischter Satz, from the red Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch. Feel free to experiment, Austria is traditionally a good producer of wine.

… For the kids, there is pasta and pizza, in addition, there are soups, salads, and of course desserts.

I chose to visit Adriana restaurant twice because I really liked it – for dinner and then for lunch. Awesome place! In the summer, it must be very pleasant to sit in the garden. I recommend the place to everyone with an open heart, including vegetarians, because there are super tasty options for them too!
