Without being forced to get vaccinated or picked in your nose for a PCR test, you travel to Vienna. This is the feeling in the Vienna restaurant and café. It opened very recently – last month. If you like really nice sausages, you drink coffee with fluffy whipped cream and other extras, you want to remember the taste of Sacher cake, or just have dinner with friends, spouse, family or business partners in a nice and elegant but not superfluous atmosphere, then go to the Grand Hotel Millennium, on the 3rd floor and look for Vienna. Read further why.

…. Wonderful turquoise-petrol accent in the colors of the interior – immediately won me over;

…. 2 terraces with great views, but inside is also worth staying;

…. Dessert displays that you can’t resist and you realize that before you read the menu, you’re already figuring out how you’re going to eat dessert in the end;

…. Large and nice wine and beer list, with the possibility of wine per glass from exclusive cellars and also with five types of draft and a separate section for fruit and non-alcoholic beer.

Feel ….

…. Pleasant service, we were asked several times if we liked the food, the recommended beer, etc;

…. The terraces are closed with glass in case of a storm, as happened while we were there;

…. It was empty, there were no people, maybe they didn’t know yet that the restaurant had opened;

…. Very comfortable chairs with soft upholstery, armrests and cushions.

…. Chill-out, very suitable for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Smell ….

…. Each sausage we tried had a different aroma, and separately they give 4 types of mustard, with which you can supplement and make their aroma and taste even better;

…. The raclette was not as aggressively smelly as I used to feel.

Raclette is melted on bread or as was the case on potato cheese, typical of Switzerland and France. It can be combined on top with slices of roasted salami or sausage, as well as hot pepper jam.

…. Biedermeier coffee is a bouquet of aromas of coffee, chocolate, cream, cinnamon in the cookie and apricot jam scent that comes from the liqueur it is served with.

Taste ….

…. Sausages, of course – there are many types, you just wonder what to choose, but I recommend from personal experience…

               … Currywurst with homemade curry sauce – served sliced ​​and drizzled with the sauce,

               … Sausage Mangalitsa with paprika,

               … Kazewurst, i.e. with cheese,

               … Turinger rostbratwurst

               … Or just order a plateau of all if you are more people.

Mangalitsa is a Hungarian breed, a freely and happily bred pig, selected in the 19th century. The meat from it has a marble structure and is of good quality.

…. The Viennese schnitzel is crispy, thin and is served with a large piece of butter with spices on the sides to melt it on top, and it is accompanied by a very tasty potato salad;

… Sacher cake, maybe Black Forest, why not Kaiserschmarn or chocolate mousse, strudel, any desserts you want;

…. The coffee is in a large variety, but I personally tried, as I already mentioned Biedermeier – it tasted great, the aroma, everything!

Of course, you can eat goulash, and if you are a vegetarian – spaetzle, rosti, fondue, and there are other things on the menu for non-carnivores.
