It’s been 1 year since I wrote the first post about Constantinoff Restobar– The newest and coolest place in Sofia, Constantinoff RestoBar. It turned out to be one of the most read publications during the year, along with the first interview from FacesCases section – Chef Sidonia Radeva from Constantinoff RestoBar, the first face in Faces Cases rubric– Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. In Gourmet category it have overcome the all time champion of the blog Paramun Inn- homemade food and delicacies from traditional Bulgarian cuisine, Paramun Village, Bulgaria and is expected to be the champion for 2020. This year proved to be a big challenge for hospitality business, some restaurants even closed. But with Constantinoff, things are moving in a positive direction, at least from the customer’s point of view.
The new thing from the previous post is that chef Radeva’s team was enriched by the Hell’s Kitchen star- Svetlana Ilieva. Judging by the food on the plates, it turns out to be a good partnership 😊.
…. I wrote in detail about the pleasant and cozy interior of Constantinoff in the post I quoted above. The only difference is that in the summer they made an outdoors corner outside, just as comfortable as the setting inside. It has been very nice during the summer, after a walk in the center to sit there for a cappuccino early in the morning and later for lunch, cocktail or dinner, amid the merry noise of the pedestrian Vitoshka street.
…. A different menu, already tuned to the autumn-winter period, unlike the summer offerings, rich in seafood delicacies and dishes 😊;
…. The spectacular look of Constantinoff Diamond cocktail – with golden powder and golden jelly balls;
…. The cheerful green colors in Green Life cocktail and the accent of the dehydrated slice of red beetroot on top;
…. Of course, the vision of the dishes is perfect, such that it makes you first admire, then smell and only then eat them with great pleasure.
Here I want to note that the lighting in the restaurant is perfect. It is an extremely important element that determines the good visual perception of food. …. Service at the level expected of a restaurant with that level. Unlike the slight disturbances at previous visits, this time we enjoyed very polite service from a young man who answered all the questions adequately, made sure that we did not miss anything, did not forget and did not confuse any order;
…. The comfort of the furniture in Constantinoff is unquestionable, even the high chairs are upholstered and very comfy.
…. The music is great – different arrangements of famous songs, in addition to recognizing favorite hit songs, you hear them in a different way. The rhythm is such that it sets you up for rest and good digestion.

…. Freshness in Green Life cocktail, with basic alcohol vodka, added fresh lemon and cucumber, midori liqueur and agave;
…. Nice aroma of the charcuterie- own production.
As I explained in a previous post, the owners of the well-known restaurant chain “Shtastlivetsa” and Constantinoff are the same. They also produce sausage, pastrami, dried pork fillet, and sous vide cooked products.
…. Lamb tongues – a new offer on the menu and undoubtedly very interesting. It was cooked perfectly- a slight crispness on the surface and a very soft heart have been achieved. The tongues were amidst fresh baby spinach and mushrooms;
…. Eat our ears – behind this playful title is a collagen bomb of pork ears, whether breaded or grilled – they are still crunchy. Don’t worry, you will feel fed up, and they are accompanied by a delicious pickle and a slightly spicy sauce.
… Constantinoff salad – it may sound most common in the description of the menu, but you will see that it is refracted through the author’s imagination. It is accompanied by something that looks like hummus, but is made of beans.
…. Suno tuna salad, very fresh, with cucumbers, avocado mousse and lemon.
…. Be sure to leave room for desserts. I recommend two. One is with the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake with mascarpone, and the other is Nutella tart with Philadelphia cream, chocolate cremeu and raspberry sorbet. Both are very remarkable. The second is much sweeter than the first and I recommend it to all chocolate fans. The first is less sweet, but has a nice density in the cream and crunchiness in the base. There are contrasts in both that are impressive, just as I described in The sense of touch and its relation to gourmet cuisine- Part 2.
For anniversary of Constantinoff RestoBar I want to wish them to continue to be a favorite stop for their customers, the restaurant to be a real example of the Experience Economy, and the team of Chef Sidonia Radeva to have a lot of creative energy to pass on to customers.
