A belated review that dates back to February 2020, before the big closure for Covid-19.
At first glance, when you enter, restaurant Le Rossini looks like a diner, but the impression changes very quickly when you see the dishes on the trays, the smile of the kind waitress and when you hear her professional explanation of the food complexity and the techniques with which they are prepared.
…. Simple interior that rather resembles a diner;
…. Beauty and originality in the serving and plating of the dishes – one of the complimentary appetizers was laid on a bed of colorful beans;
…. A small but intriguing and informative menu.
…. Very nice waitress, friendly, talkative;
…. Soft homemade black bread with a crispy crust;
…. Shrimp chips in one appetizer;
…. Bubbles in the prosecco, which they offer in a glass to one of the fixed menus;
…. Very convenient tasting menu only for EUR 39, which you can upgrade at your request for 5 or 20 EUR.
…. Pleasant calm music – instrumental;
…. A long conversation in French between the waitress and our neighbors by table about the quality of the food, about other similar places where the customers have been and tried other delicious dishes. This creates a very casual atmosphere, although the food quality of Le Rossini is extremely high.
Movie watching time: 0:48 min
…. Truffle in one of the main dishes;
…. Freshness of the watercress with which they garnish the dishes.
…. Absolutely everything they offer you is delicious, the problem is which one to choose next, especially if you are hungry;
…. Great wine by the glass.
Restaurant Le Rossini stands out from the typical fine dining restaurants with simplicity in the interior, casual communication but with elegant sophistication in combining flavors and tastes. A great and affordable place for gourmands!
